Compact R2R DAC with extra power!
As the next step in the quest for the most natural sound, Shanling looked at some of its most legendary audio designes and recreated their sound with the new R2R DAC. 24 bit architecture with 192 high-precision 0.1% resistors, offering a unique sounding alternative to standard DAC designs.
The EH2 features two independent audio circuits, headphone and pre/line ouputs. The headphone amplifier has increased driving power and is tuned for a beautifully rich and smooth sound. The pre/line output is a direct output from the R2R DAC combined with OPA1612 low-pass filters, fully preserving the authentic character of the R2R DAC.
Digital Inputs - from basics to wireless
As well as the standard USB input, the EH2 adds extra SPDIF coaxial and optical inputs, for easy connection to a wider range of classic A/V equipment. Bluetooth brings the convenience of a wireless connection, using the Qualcomm QCC5125 module with its brilliant support of LDAC, aptX Adaptive and AAC, providing a stable connection for all types of devices.
Hardware level customisation
With built in chipsets for tone control, the EH2 provides a direct solution for treble and bass adjustments. Quick and simple tuning changes provide you a sound better suited to your individual tastes.
Designed for highly demanding headphones
The EH2's high powered headphone amplifier was optimized for use with full size headphones, providing low distortion output reaching over 4W at 32 Ohms, making sure that even the hardest to drive headphones can be fully powered from this one compact device.
