Shanling's most popular product ever released was the M0 digital audio player - it convinced people to upgrade to a proper portable Hi-Fi player, it was used as a USB Transport for DACs, and it was even glued to the shell of headphones, turning them into a DIY all-in-one rig.
Shanling M0 Pro has now updated the original M0 including DAC chips, headphone jack, Bluetooth, and many other features. It features the latest-generation SABRE Dual DAC chipset and now incorporates a newly developed 3.5mm headphone jack with integrated Single-Ended and Balanced output support. M0 Pro maintains the ultra-compact, handy form factor of the original M0. It houses a 1.54” large colourful display that allows you to explore your library smoothly.
To tap into the balanced output, Shanling implemented a brand-new type of 3.5mm connector, combining both single-ended and balanced connections into one, to make it work perfectly with all your standard single-ended 3.5mm connectors while allowing for a proper balanced connection through a special 5-pin 3.5mm to 4.4mm adapter (sold separately).
Dual DAC Chips
Equipped with two ESS ES9219C DAC chips from the specialist ESS Technology, Shanling M0 Pro features fully balanced signal processing. Shanling M0 Pro ultra-portable music player is capable of reproducing all relevant data formats in hi-res audio, with impeccable signal processing and comparatively high output power.
Bi-Directional Connection
Shanling M0 is equipped with bi-directional Bluetooth 5.0, which means you can stream music to Bluetooth speakers and headphones, but also receive signals from your smartphone or other sources. Hi-res Audio Wireless makes sure codecs are used that enable loss-free signal transmission.
Single-Ended/Balanced 3.5mm Port
Featuring a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack for connecting headphones, the Shanling M0 Pro utilizes a special 5-pin design to ensure a balanced connection in the smallest form factor. For the first time, M0 Pro offers a single-ended and balanced connection. (3.5mm balanced adapter sold separately)

The M0 Pro has a pure gesture control Non-Android system. Using the brand new MTouch OS developed by Shanling, M0 Pro's "system" is "fully" focused on music playback, free of any redundant software affecting sound reproduction. MTouch OS is fast and easy to use. Even if your device does not support Bluetooth, you can still connect it via the Type-C USB slot. It even doubles up as a soundcard; thanks to the 2TB microSD card slot, you can store your favourite songs.
Eddict Player app support
The M0 Pro is also compatible with the Eddict Player app. You can install the Eddict Player app on your Android phone and connect it to M0 Pro, controlling playback and browsing through the songs from the comfort of the big display.
